Wow this song's been out for nearly seven years and not one comment? It's great, tragic and sorrowful too.

Anyway, I think it's about a guy who really likes a girl. She's not like other girls though, and he cares for her more than anything and anyone. He has always put her first. Unfortunately, the girl doesn't feel the same way. Instead of staying friends, however, the girl avoids the guy. This song is how the guy feels about it now, how he feels about what she's done to him and how he's no longer the man he once was. He feels dead in a living world, yet unable to die in his sorrow.
