Lol! "...throw a toast." I don't know, that part was random. Toast. Hahaha. I can imagine bread being thrown outta nowhere. Hahaha. Sorry. Ah, such a sad song. I love it. I love them! :D

This is possibly about an alcoholic mother? Or more likely a dysfunctional family in general.
I think shes trying to forget all the bad things in her life for example her mom being an alcoholic.
I think this is honestly their only good song, I love it.
This is one of their best songs IMO. It's epic, stays stuck in your head and feels like it has more meaning to the lyrics than the other songs. Obviously about a troubled childhood.
I think their parents had a lot of arguing between each other and probably their marriage broke in the end. That is probably the reason her mother became an alcoholic. Krysta wishes she could help her mother, she feels sad for her mother's sad situation. Great song, I love it! Deep meaning in it.
A dysfunctional family yes, but I'm not sure I agree with it being alcoholism. I can see how it might be referencing that, but I still think it's more about the pain her mother has been in and is going through.
Like her mother being unhappy and she doesn't know how she can help her. Shes afraid shes going to lose her if she continues in the state she's in.
