Hinky Dinky Lyrics

It's been a long day sacking groceries at the hinky dinky store
All the old ladies are mean, I don't want to do this anymore
But if I go home and tell my mom I don't have a job
She's gonna make me move into a trailer home
Doesn't matter what you say
I'm not gonna listen anyways
'Cause Stevie Wonder's on the radio
Put some cans on your eggs
Now I'm staring at your legs
'Cause you're a MILF and you're fucking hot
I try so fucking hard to make it on my own
But every time I try I end up all alone
I know exactly what it takes to be a man
But I will never reach that status sacking cans
Doesn't matter what you say
I'm not gonna listen away
Can I get a price check on some beats? (16 bucks)
I showed up an hour late
And now my manager's irate
He's the type of the guy I'd like to kill
I try to live my life the hinky dinky way
But then I realize that that's just fucking gay

WoW...a song about an actual grocery store chain. There were also Pigly Wigly's, although I may have spelled it incorrectly. Spent years working a register to get through college, and it was the MOST fun. We partied hard together after work and on the weekends. Our managers even threw parties at their homes and took us to bars. GOOD times. Nothing wrong with earning a living in a grocery store, but years ago the full-time cashiers were making $11.00 an hour (which was BIG money). Now it's menial labor with few, if any, benefits. Thank you, Washington dems and repubs! Oh, Man, I got sidetracked. Anyway, the song is about a typical grocery store employee; his manager; and his life within the walls of the store. Very cute.
