This seems to me like it is about Maika Maile's dad committing suicide,
In my opinion, but then again Stories seems to be along a similar storyline but from the perspective of someone else who is affected by the death of others..

I really like your interpretation of it...it gave me a new way to look at this amazing song...and I was once so depressed that I just didn't see any other way out and I was well too close to just ending my life that night but I obviously didn't but every song like this (like in your interpretation) basically gives me another sense of hope and faith that I am loved by people and I am wanted around...just thought I'd say thank you for givin me another way to look at it

beautiful beautiful song. the whole song is amazing. i can totally relate. cold afternoon, sleep in some... its just gorgeous. theres times we all feel this sad. and tft is great at expressing it and showing we can all heal and make the best of our lives as they show in other songs. it all works out in the end. love you guys!! :)
I agree with each of th interpretations 100%! I love this site so much man...but TFT is amazing! scarredroses...if you like that type of music I think you would like the classic crime as well...they ARE THE MOST AMAZING BAND EVER!!!!( in my opinion that is) but yeah like their songs aren't all about love and stuff but give you room to interpret them in soooo many ways!!
