I'm not a big fan of this group...but this song rocks my sweetness...if this song was made during the 60's it would made such a huge hit.Its about confessing your feeling to the one you love eventhough you know your timing is off...but who cares as long as youve express your feeling and letting know how much you love the girl...the song meaning as to this website is all about.Great song..great album!!!

I'm going through this EXACT same thing right now. I'm in love with the most perfect person and I know it's real, but my life is heading in a new direction and I'm scared of what's going to happen to us...the timing is definitely way, way off. But The Eels are so right, haha...we don't have a choice. Sometimes, that's just the way life is. No one just "chooses" to fall in love, it's gunna happen regardless of how inconvenient it may be at the time. You just gotta live life as it goes.
