Isadora Duncan Lyrics
oh isadora, how beautifully misunderstood
is this what kept you moving?
so ahead of your time
but so far from where you should be heading
settle your heart
"lead me with your little strong hands
i'll follow you to the top of the world"
you could be better than this
to the end of the world, where ever you wish
if only you would let me
if only you would let me
catch my breath
we could be better than this
rest your head, and your weary eyes
when we continue we could be something so much more
what sort of veiw is my heart from a rearview mirror?
what sort of view are you searching for?
oh Isadora, surely you have just reason to run?
what have you done, what is the cause?
you could be so free
rest your head, and your weary eyes
when we continue we could be something so much more
what sort of view is my heart from a rearview mirror?
what sort of view were you searching for?
oh Isadora, rest your weary heart
settle your soles
know that where ever you are,
where ever you run,
you're not alone
oh Isadora
is this what kept you moving?
so ahead of your time
but so far from where you should be heading
settle your heart
i'll follow you to the top of the world"
you could be better than this
to the end of the world, where ever you wish
if only you would let me
if only you would let me
catch my breath
we could be better than this
when we continue we could be something so much more
what sort of veiw is my heart from a rearview mirror?
what sort of view are you searching for?
what have you done, what is the cause?
you could be so free
when we continue we could be something so much more
what sort of view is my heart from a rearview mirror?
what sort of view were you searching for?
settle your soles
know that where ever you are,
where ever you run,
you're not alone

Isadora Duncan was a famous dancer who died un a freak accident when her scarf got caught in her enigine of her car if i remember correctly
and the song is about someone he cares about leaving
actually her scarf became entangled in the car's open-spoked wheels and rear axel. and she revolutionized dance by defying what standards of dance were at the time of her career. she beautifully displays her dynamism whenever she moves.
a world held in severed hands is pewpy
