This song I guess is about not relying on other people to make you happy, but being able to explore within yourself to find the worth in your life, because really when you manage to find your own stable happiness you know that it can't be taken from you, since you can only depend on yourself in a stable way (whereas if you find happiness in someone else - like a lover, this can be destroyed when they leave)
