The Larynx That You Have Lyrics
The larynx that you have
You give no plea to no man
The lovers that you've borrowed whisper
The happy and the naked
The lonesome wearing (?)
We'll get close without touching, in circles
Take my idea, and wait for me
Is it enough to say you can do anything
Oh with your heartache
and your love gone
oh, set to stun
(Repeat all)
You give no plea to no man
The lovers that you've borrowed whisper
The lonesome wearing (?)
We'll get close without touching, in circles
Is it enough to say you can do anything
Oh with your heartache
and your love gone
oh, set to stun

figured out the same days ago, couldnt get one word too, after the lonesome wearing.... :) good job..can't figure out cellophone :(
I think the last two lines are
And your love GUN Oh, set to stun
That makes more sense.
As for the meaning, I have no idea. I think "The lonesome wearing (?)" is a key phrase. But to overanalyze it would be to kill it.
The lonesome wearing PLAID!
That's what I hear anyways. It definitely relates with the plaid-wearing hipsters in the boroughs around the time this song was recorded...
