i think this song could be about just life in general.
Like you just see people that are just like the life of the party and you wonder why can't you be like that or wondering why you know some many people they don't call you. and you like make a realisation that to be the things you want to be you need to change, but like really don't want to change because you want to be yourself, and if you do change you will be like everyone else.
I don't think its like a super duper you have to pick apart every line, its pretty straight forward. Its all about wonder "Why?"
When I first heard this song, I thought it was about changing yourself to be with the person you love, but now I think it's about not being able to get over an ex maybe? Sorry if I'm wrong though

i think this song could be about just life in general.
Like you just see people that are just like the life of the party and you wonder why can't you be like that or wondering why you know some many people they don't call you. and you like make a realisation that to be the things you want to be you need to change, but like really don't want to change because you want to be yourself, and if you do change you will be like everyone else.
