More Than Ever

this song is obviously about a couple who haven't seen eachother in awhile and the guy just reallly wants to see the girl.

this is another song on their album that i can relate to, which makes this song amazing.

Well, when I first heard this song I thought it was about two people, a couple, who didn't see each other for a while and this is them coming back together. But then I realized this could also apply to weed.

"Just like I said before give me two weeks When I come home I'll come and say hello" He could be taking a tolerance break during these two weeks, either forced or voluntarily. Or he could have been gone for those two weeks and comes back to greet his girlfriend/wife.

"With hugs and kisses for you Mrs. how I miss you so Been gone forever nothing better than to see you though" He is coming back to smoking again, saying that he misses her and he's glad to be back and stoned again. Or he could be glad that he's back to see his significant other, and that it's the best feeling in the world to see her again.

"And tell me how you been Don't act surprised this is how I am I'm feeling good and that's real You and me should kick it more than ever Remember me and you" Self-explanatory, he says he wants to smoke more again, and that he misses Mrs. Mary Jane. But maybe he says that she shouldn't be surprised, that he hasn't changed since he saw her, and wants to be with her more.

"Remember when we'd sit Talk face to face and wonder whether we'd be making it" He's questioning whether he can smoke all his life and still keep up with his responsibilities. Then again, he could be questioning his relationship, looking into the future and wondering whether they could make it through marriage, and kids, and arguments, and fights.

"And chat for hours 'bout the leftist side of government I'd sit and listen to your words and I'd be loving it" Maybe he's thinking really deeply (that happens when you're stoned) about everything, and loves the ideas that flow into his mind (listen to your words). Then again, he could be having a discussion about the government with his SO.

"Now the times have changed Older but we always stay the same I'm filling up the whole lane" This can go for both meanings (the SO and weed) in that they've grown up together, and they're older now but haven't changed, and they're happy with it.

"You and me should kick it more than ever Remember me and you" Again, he wants to spend more time smoking, or maybe being with his girlfriend/wife, and wants her to remember what they've been through, and what they represent.

It can apply to a girl or cannabis. so mannyftw you got it right. It's what makes this such an awesome song. I can relate in both ways. Love this song one of my favorites by rebelution.
