Kings Black Magic

I think it's related to depression, alot of these songs seem to be to me.

Possibley he is talking about awakening from a deep depression, describing it as being like a werewolf becoming human again and finding himself howling at the moon. He doesnt fully comprehend why he's so depressed and has never been so fully engulfed in it. Again wakening momenterialy, the moon in a sense has come out from behind a cloud again and the voices grow dragging him back down.

they yelled, "kill the beast, before he kills you" heard her scream "c'mon lets run, if they catch us here, we won't live to see the sun" hang you by morning, shoot me by gun this dying beast felt his heart'd been torn

Could be talking about his fear to tell people and let him know how hes feeling, scared he might be ridiculed and sent to a spot in peoples mind they reserve for people they beleive are weak, monsters or beneath them. All these feelings tear him up even more tearing his heart at how emotionless he imagines people would be to him.

He keeps telling himself this over and over trying to pull himself out, or maybe its a callout to other people depressed and lonely "Wake up you got the blues" pull yourself together, nothings as bad as you think it is!

a peasant sent love with the queen was cast through the shadows to one frightful dream the kings black magic screamed "hey you wait there you'll die a beast like my heart did break"

People are trying to reach out to him "a peasant sent love with the queen" but his mind throughs there help away putting it into the "shadows" making him believe(dream) that there is no point. "the kings black magic screamed" a reference to him being a werewolf trying to talk him into believing theres no escape from this depression.
