Wait for the Wintertime Lyrics

Hodocotay, nothing's gunna stop us
Hodahcotay, you can see forever
Hodacotay, nothings gunna stop us
Hodahcotay, you can run through metal

In a graveyard, we'll be making babies
In a graveyard, it's raining up in heaven

Solid gold, nothing's gunna stop us
Solid gold now, solid gold, solid gold

A man can be happy with the weather
As long as it doesn't snow

???
to run and hide
Wintertime is a ???
there's a price to pay for the summertime

On a cold day, nothing's gunna stop us On a cold day, you can see forever On a cold day, nothings gunna stop us On a cold day, you can run through metal

In a graveyard, we'll be making babies In a graveyard, it's raining up in heaven

Solid gold now , nothing's gunna stop us Solid gold now, it's solid solid gold

A man can be happy with the weather As long as it doesn't snow

Snow will fallow me as soon as there's nowhere warm, to run and hide.

Wintertime is a ball and chain of the old and grey, it's the price we pay for the summertime.

In a graveyard, we'll be making babies In a graveyard, it's raining up in heaven

Solid gold now, nothing's gunna stop us Solid gold now, it's solid solid gold

lyrics for the studio version, not the live ones.

Wintertime is a razor-blade that the devil made It's the price we pay for the summertime.

love these lyrics

These are definitely not the lyrics.

Im not sure what they are, but to me it sounds more like:

Wintertime is a ball and chain that we oughtta break Its the price we pay for the summertime

"On a cold day", not "Hodocotay"

Hodocotay??? lol what does that mean? def "on a cold day" tho that should be a new word.

and there are two versions ive heard, one recorded and one live.

the record says wintertime is a ball and chain of the old and grey its the price we pay for the summertime

the live version says wintertime is a razorblade that the devil made its the price we pay for the summertime

other than that i cant make it out, too distorted. def amazing song tho.

It sounds like "silent cold" instead of "solid gold"

I kind of really wanted this song to say “On the cocaine nothing’s gonna stop us”, instead of ‘hodocotay’? I thought wintertime was alluding to the drug, and how “there is a price to pay”. So, what Leakeg and recording DR said about razor and ball may not be way off…
