Gerry Rafferty says a lot through his music and i can relate. What a shame he's gone, i would of followed him till the end. I have to give so much credit to him when he turns commercial by touring the USA and his reason for that says a lot about him. Love the man the singer song writer the person.

I think this is his best song. Seem to remember this was recorded at Chipping Norton studios. About someone he has enjoyed being with, spending time with. Seems to be someone he had known for quite a while. Possibly his wife maybe?
