Damn that's some shitty wine
It tastes like butter and beaver brine
But if you fill my glass another time
I'm sure it will begin to taste just fine
I'm sure it'll taste just fine
Damn that's some chewy beef
Gristle gum beyond belief
But roll'em another spliff
And I'm sure it'll being to taste just fine
I' sure it'll begin to taste just fine
Jeeze what a horrible song
It stinks like big wet donkey dong
But if you wrap your lips around a bong
I'm sure it'll begin to sound just fine
I'm sure it'll sound just fine
Man what a snoozer show
A shindig dud but don't ya know
If you cram your sinuses full of blow
I'm sure you'll begin to have a good time
Hey mister, spare a dime
It seems the boy has a broke mind
He took it to the limit every time
But he's primed by 29
He's got a broke mind
It tastes like butter and beaver brine
But if you fill my glass another time

Everthing is better with drugs (or at least tolerable). But in the end, you'll get a broke mind from all of the weed, wine and blow you ingest in your lifetime. It seems like this is what happened to Les at a young age. He was addicted to speed, he did/does hallucinogenic drugs and im sure has tried other shit as well. And hes fried his brain. In a way, this song could either be a warning against too much drug use, or a pro-drug song.
Do you think Les Claypool has a fried brain? The man's an impressive musician, has directed films, and he tours regularly. Somehow I think his brain works fine.

This is a song about someone with a crappy life who doesn't know any way besides getting high or intoxicated to escape. It makes the bad stuff good and the good stuff better... until it doesn't. At the end, he ends up in a prison of his own making, which is much harder to break free from than his initial situation.
