Anywho, I remember hearing Ian Anderson talking about this song. When he was in one of his apartments, a neighbour (a floor below, I think) was an aspiring classic guitarist, and would play Bourree constantly. This was Ian's way of saying '**** you!'.
i LOOOVE this song too!! i could always excuse myself being a flute band geek because i could play it. also, the neighbor story makes it that much better if it's true!
