lol i agree but i disagree you see i mean you are right in that hes talking about sex none the less i think its more about the sacredness of it and how hes saying that he'd do anything to have it...which to me is telling young girls that its way to precious to waste because the guy will end up being just a 'stain there on there bedsheet' when he saying that i think girls should realize that to guys sex is a big deal... lol well not like a big dael like in that way because lets be honest guys can get it from anywhere now a days... but i think he's saying that if girls notice the value of it when he said 'my diamond in the rough' then you should trust and believe that the guy will be 'there waiting for you' , i mean why else do you think guy want it so bad lol....because they know something that most girls dont, which is the value of what we hold...because trust me if every girl in the world suddenly decided to hold out on sex till marriage then every guy in the world would be resulting to the same antics as he is in the song when he says... <br /> Darling I'll bathe your skin<br /> I'll even wash your clothes<br /> Just give me some candy<br /> Before I go<br /> Oh, darling I'll kiss your eyes<br /> And lay you down on your rug<br /> Just give me some candy<br /> lol you know you should just watch the music video it explains everything<br /> but hey i may be wrong songs means something diffrent for everybody... well obviously :) <br />

I agree with jeff and saddie. It's actually not that shallow, because he's honestly admitting he wants to take her, and he doesn't want to wait for on philosphies and her morals, be it religious of just the general point of view some women have to wait to give it up. The cut throats and jagged edges must be the people who protect her values who will come down on him for disrecpecting hew wishes. <br /> <br /> He's saying he's heartless and helpless, but YET, he'll wait for her.<br /> <br /> Nothing wrong in a man asking for what he wants, but ultimately respecting a woman's virutes. <br /> <br /> The song wouldn't be as climactic if he wasn't holding out. <br /> <br /> The video really does say it all.

Sorry jeff, you don't get it. He's already been on radio talking about it. As for the poor kids being obsessed with love - that just makes them perfectly normal. God bless you jeff, and I hope one day you too will know true love.
