The Outsiders Lyrics
Johnny be lost
Johnny be cold
Walk away
Don't jump the gun
Counting the cost
Thinking it through
Making your own way
Making your own rules
Don't believe
A word they say
Johnny be cool, yeah
Johnny because
Just the two of us
Making fools of us
Just the two of us
On our feet again
Kicking our heels again
Just the two of us
Nothing to lose
So nothing gets lost
We measure the truth
They measure the cost
Too much choice
Is no choice at all
In our universe
There's just the two of us
Just the two of us
Just the two of us
Making fools of us
Making fools of us
On our feet again
We're kicking our heels again
The two of us
Johnny be cold
Walk away
Don't jump the gun
Thinking it through
Making your own way
Making your own rules
A word they say
Johnny be cool, yeah
Johnny because
Making fools of us
Just the two of us
Kicking our heels again
Just the two of us
So nothing gets lost
We measure the truth
They measure the cost
Is no choice at all
In our universe
There's just the two of us
Making fools of us
Making fools of us
We're kicking our heels again
The two of us

great song. no comments!
Love how this song makes me feel, like I just won't let any crap get me down. Like the positive vibe: "on our feet again, kicking our heels again" Definitely says it all.
Also "We measure the truth, They measure the cost" Reminds me of Oscar Wilde's line from Lady Windermere's Fan: "What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing." So the song means to me stay outside of the world's cynicsm
