Fields Are Breathing Lyrics
Waiting for the sunlight to grow me through the floor
I'm still waiting for the sunlight to grow me through the floor
We won't go walking and we won't see summertime
We won't imagine that we can run on
Waiting for the sunlight to grow me through the floor
I'm still waiting for the sunlight to grow me through the floor
We won't go walking and we won't see summertime
We won't imagine that we can run on
We won't go walking and we won't see summertime
We won't imagine that we can run on
We won't go walking and we won't see summertime
We won't imagine that we can run on
I'm still waiting for the sunlight to grow me through the floor
We won't imagine that we can run on
I'm still waiting for the sunlight to grow me through the floor
We won't imagine that we can run on
We won't go walking and we won't see summertime
We won't imagine that we can run on
We won't go walking and we won't see summertime
We won't imagine that we can run on

Gah, this song is so surreal! When i hear this song i imagine a scene of a a wooden cabin in the middle of a shady forest and light coming in through the window with the singer being a seed waiting to be grown out of the floor by the sunlight coming in. Such a relaxing, spiritual song to me.
"waiting for the sunlight to grow me through the floor"
He's still waiting to break the surface and "blossom" into the person he should be.
song is about death & life. we will all die, but with our death will come new life. we will fall into a field and our death will help create a forest full of a different life.
