I don't know what it means but it's my favorite song from the new album
I think I get it but im not sure what exactly is being said. But at the moment the song is connecting to me.
The first thing that comes to my mind about this song is a drug addiction, though I may be wrong, of course.
I think it's about depression and running away from people.
I bet it's about drug abuse because of depression. It may be about drugs like heroin, but it is more likely to be about benzodiazepines, because they make you feel numb and apathetic - hence the lyrics "My apathy got the best of me" and "Everything that I put inside just to feel numb". Benzo addiction is pure hell...
