call me crazy but i thought they catered to a younger audience, like the pre-teen (pre-sex) audience. this song doesnt seem to be like them. they also (from my point of view) portrayed themselves as a very Christian and chaste, fun power popish group on their myspace and such

lyrics are tacky, such cheap art these days. its a good listen though i did, however, used to have a little more respect for their stuff prior to this song. thought they were different.

its not "Sell it baby or we wont be friends" its "tell me baby, are we more than friends?"

This song is obviously about a boy and a girl who go on a date, and then this song is him asking her to have sex with him.

Okay first of all, it's "you be the lock, I'll be the key." not "you be the lock, yeah I'll be the key." And it's not "Sell it baby, or we won't be friends" it's "tell me baby are we more than just friends?" And you left out the part where CJ sings "now it's time I'll turn the lights down, low (show me yours and I'll show you mine)"

In my opinion it is about sex, but according to what they said in a video it's about taking a girl out and just having a good time, if you watched the music video you might understand the song a little bit more - and the behind the scences video. And if it is about sex I'm perfectly fine with that. At least it isn't aa perved as other songs out there. In fact it's one of my favorite songs - and the part where he sings "tell me baby are we more than just friends?" He's giving the girl a choice.

i think it is about Romeo and Juliet and how they cant be together so they keep it secretive and but they still love each other and they have to meet each other at midnight, hence the name midnight Romeo.

it's definitely about sex. theres no question about that. and the lyrics are off.
