The year was 1995 and I was too young to drive. I felt so stuck on the inside of my life.
Just living out my life through my tv with all of my favorite shows. Wanted my life to work out so easy, don't care if anybody knows.
But now I'm old enough to drive. No one can keep me inside and I just got the day on my mind. It's my life!
Step by step these are my Family matters and why Boy Meets World I'll never know. Who's the boss here? It's the Fresh Prince. We've got a Full House, let's get this show on the road.

This song is SOOOO good. haha, I'm definitely digging how seamlessly he's able to weave nostalgia into this positive song. Makes me miss that friday night line up though! haha

I love how simple yet great this song is. My favorite line is, "I just wanna live my life like it's the 90's. Like it's a tv show. There could be problems and we could solve them on next weeks episode."

I think the meaning is pretty self explanatory :)
