Anyways, I think this song is about two lovers that maybe are fading as far as their romance goes or they just aren't compatible with each other. I don't really know though.

I fall in love with this song every time I hear it. I think what I get from this song is that the narrator is always almost in love, almost always giving of herself, almost always fully involved in something. It's like she is in that weird place right before being in love but after the initial feelings. But I think this song is much more than that, I just can't really put it into words I guess.
I saw her live a few years back and she said that she wrote this song about the idea of being in love before she had ever been in love
