Odds? I think it's "you'll send your eyes your heart to me" Odds doesn't really make any sense. And this just has the chorus, there seems to be more lyrics to this song

yeah theres alot of missing words, but they're kind of not audible.

that does make more sense thanks for the correction

i know the lyrics are slightly incorrect and I do need your help in deciphering some of it since I've no idea where to find the official...

anyway, I've always imagined this song to have some connection to "My Wife" from the March of the Zapotec EP, though it's instrumental.

The artist should be listed as "Real People". This album is technically a split of Zachary Condon's two projects; Beirut - his indie/world project, and Real People - his electronic project he started doing when he was much, much younger.

I'm positive its "you'll send your heart, your heart to me" then it sounds like he says something along the lines of "it's what I please" or "as I please"

I'm not 100% sure of the words either, but I do know this song is immense. :)

i went on a hundred avey tare rants about this quote, but it seems like it's from the...same quote.

"Let you be stripped of your purple dyes, for I too once in the wilderness with my wife had all the treasure I wished." it's used in house of leaves, so avey tare uses 'purple' a lot.
