Heavy Water/I'd Rather Be Sleeping Lyrics

This feeling doesn't go away
I feel it moving through me
I want a love I had inside
Want to feel it moving through me

In dreams
I'm moving through heavy water
The love is enormous,
it's lifting me up
I'd rather be sleeping
I'd rather fall in to tidal waves
and go where the deepest currents go

I opened a mirror up
and saw a true love
I let it separate in two
The water rising up over my head

In dreams
I'm moving through heavy water
The love is enormous,
it's lifting me up
I'd rather be sleeping
I'd rather fall in to tidal waves
right where the deepest currents fall

shivers

so glad someone posted the lyrics even if this song was just as moving when i had no idea what she was singing half the time such a dreamy song...

I second that: shivers.

love and contentment is achievable but not something constantly around in waking life.

in realms where you're in peace (sleeping) or concentrated emotion/feeling (heavy water) this can be a possibility.

but, we're humans, so we can't be asleep or in water all the time.

i'd wish this song has 37 minutes so I wouldn't have to keep playing it on repeat.

SO perfect.

and thanks for the lyrics. love and water = pure beauty.

Ditto on 37 minutes song, don't want to realize that i'm sitting in front of a computer behind four walls when i click play again, want to stay in the world grouper induces

"and go where the deepest currents go" should be "right where the deepest currents fall". Otherwise, well done to the interpreter. It sounds pretty accurate.

Lyric Correction

Great song. Someone needs to transcribe "Cover the Windows and the Walls" next.

I think its

'I'd rather fall into tidal waves right where the deepest currents fall'

But I'm not certain.
