Honestly, I'd say these lyrics are self explanatory. By fighting the lobotomy you are denying the lies of religious faith and following the truth that when you die, you're dead. There is no life after death, there is no god. It also tried to explain that people simply have religious faith because it is easier to accept that when you die there is another life waiting than to accept that when you're dead, you're done.
