"it’s about watching someone you really care about going down a path you know isn’t good for them. and even they know it’s making them miserable, but they never try to make it any better. and realizing you can’t make someone want to do something even if it means staying unhappy. it was a really frustrating situation. kind of tricky to explain fully without details. this song makes me really sad for some reason, haha."
This song is about someone doing something they know they shouldn't be doing, but they stay in the situation anyway. And how you want to help them but you know that ultimately it's their decision
