Jesus chris, what a fantastic song. The emotion in this song reminds me of Conor's earlier work.

By the reaction of Phil Schaffart when the song is done. It sounds like he's still working this song out. He most likely wrote it after they went to Sonic Ranch to record Outer South. Or else I think he would have put it on the CD. Also it looks like he is reading the lyrics.

i adore this song! when it came on at the end of the mystic valley band doc i just fell in love! "they still call me brother, like cain and able" i iwish it was on the album
this song is AMAZING! it def. reminds me of the earlier stuff he's done. i do hope it shows up on a cd sometime down the line but i really like the way it is in the documentary. i think recording it in a studio would somehow take away from it. i can't even count how many times i have listened to this song since the documentary came out. i love it!
