Bloodshot eyes on factory floors
Filling up little bottles
The great depressed, the okay, they're not yours
Empty out little pockets
If you stop believing, let me know
No, we don't even show
Our feelings, hide
What keeps deceiving
Let it go
Now we don't even know
Our biggest prize
I'm not so sure anymore
Bloodshot ties wash up on the shore
Crawling out from the lifeboat
Creeping past our border control
Filling up empty promises
If you stop believing let me know
Now we don't even show
Our feelings, hide
Don't let yourself feel like
You're the first this has happened to
We mix together.
Filling up little bottles
The great depressed, the okay, they're not yours
Empty out little pockets
If you stop believing, let me know
No, we don't even show
Our feelings, hide
What keeps deceiving
Let it go
Now we don't even know
Our biggest prize
I'm not so sure anymore
Crawling out from the lifeboat
Creeping past our border control
Filling up empty promises
Now we don't even show
Our feelings, hide
Don't let yourself feel like
You're the first this has happened to

I really like this song and I had to really go through and dissect it to figure out what he's talking about, but I think I got it.
The first verse is about the great depression when people were working their asses off in the factories to make barely any money.
Then it goes to the chorus:
"If you stop believing let me know. No we don't even show our feelings. Hide what keeps deceiving, let it go." I think this is saying when you get tired of the bullshit and want answers or revolution, let me know. Let's stop hiding how we feel with denial and let go.
"Now we don't even know our biggest prize. I'm not so sure anymore"
I think because they've changed what they believe in, it left them feeling like everything they do is pointless. Why are we here?
The next verse is about immigrants that sneak into the country in search of a new luxurious fortunate life, only to arrive and find themselves at the very lowest level of our economy (which is in a recession). So they have to work their asses off just like the factory workers from the first verse.
chorus
"Don't let yourself feel like you're the first this has happened to... we mix together"
It's been happening for centuries, people work tirelessly for something they've realized is bullshit. But hold tight, it all works out and we have each other.
