This song to me is about a guy who thinks he is with the perfect girl. It turns out she has kept a pretty big secret from him, one that will cause alot of hurt and pain. She was scared to tell him because she knew it would hurt and the relationship is going great, but realizes that she needs to tell him the truth.

My Interpretation

This song to me tell how a woman who is in love with boyfriend who is afraid of telling him that she cheated on him with another man. She knew that if she told him, their relationship was going to end, and so she kept it a secret from him. She knew that it would break his heart if she told him the truth. Her boyfriend probably thought that she was the one for him. Keri kept saying that she would tell her boyfriend the truth but she never told him. She tried telling him when she was crying. But she couldn't tell him because she was still afraid. Her mind kept kept telling her to wait a little while. She never told her boyfriend the truth that she cheated on him with another man, and she continued to keep it a secret from him.

i can totally relate to this song! i strted seeing this guy but he was this gansta-wannabe and i wasn't happy, and he knew that too...so, since i wasnt satisfied i slept with this other guy and my bf changed his gansta ways FOR ME and i feel so guilty cause he still doesnt know about the other guy..but right now, we're just good friends and im dating the other guy xD

I think this is about the girl in the relationship being unfaithful somehow. It's most likely she cheated on him, but in a sense it could be about anything.. Whatever it is, she knows it would ruin the relationship - "Keri, wait things are going great." And if she told him the truth, he wouldn't be able to handle it - "Gotta tell him the truth(He couldn't handle it)". Whatever she is hiding from him, its killing her and sooner or later he'll need to find out.
