A pyre is a structure, usually made of wood, for burning a body as part of a funeral rite. As a form of cremation, a body is placed upon the pyre which is then set on fire.
Pyre makes a lot more sense, because you cant do anything to an already-lit fire with a match 0_o lol
this was the last song of this album awaiting lyrics, im guessing cause they weren't the easiest to understand haha but i gave it a shot, might be a mistake or two, if you think so let me know also i completely left out two lines cause i really had no idea, the one after "It's too hard to run away" and the one after "To watch it burn, to watch it churn" if you think you know em let me know and ill be happy to add them and fix any other mistakes

as far as the meaning, i think its pretty obvious his girl cheats on him with his best friend he is furious and says he wants to burn his girl and possibly his friend too? to death he talks about doing this again in the afterlife i wouldnt say this is to be taken literally obviously, just expressing his rage he goes on to say how he was always there for her and that no one will be able to prove he was the one that burned her to death idk thats just how i see it lemme know what you think
