Mad About The Boy Lyrics

Can't make up my mind about the boy
Sometimes he brings me down, sometimes he brings me joy
I want him around, but he’s never in town
Can't make up my mind, oh no

But I love him even though my friends say he's not right
I know it's true but can't deny he's on my mind

I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
And there ain't no other that I'd put above him
I'm so mad about the boy

Can't make up my mind about this guy
Sometimes he makes me smile, sometimes he makes me cry
Other guys have tried, but he's the one I like
I'm so mad about this guy

But I love him even though my friends say he's no right
I know it's true but can't deny he's on my mind

I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
And there ain't no other that I'd put above him
I'm so mad about the boy

Call it what you like but I ain't no love fool
You would understand if he was loving you
We've had our ups and downs, but I still want him around
He is the one, I know is true

I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
And there ain't no other that I'd put above him
I'm so mad about the boy

I love this song.!! This is exactly how I feel. He pisses me off sometimes, but he totally makes up for it all the other times.

The song is about a girl telling someone that she is in love with a boy who although he makes her mad, she's mad about him. And it's easy for her friends to say, "ditch him" or whatever, but they can't understand it because they're not in the relationship.
