The lines are on board, it's quiet offshore
But the wind blows
The children are here but the women just stare
From the windows
See the lawns outside(---?)
Oh how they glow
And I spotted you there with curlers in hair
On the telephone
And I, longed for you.
Yes I, long for you.
Oh I'll move for you.
Yes, I'll move for you
Years spent round on the foyer
As the maid sweeps dust
And leaves from the back door
My heart could be yours
Within dreams we're free
But you'd always ask for more.
So I'll move for you
Yes, I'll move for you
Oh I'll move for you.
Oh I'll move for you.
But the wind blows
From the windows
Oh how they glow
On the telephone
Yes I, long for you.
Yes, I'll move for you
As the maid sweeps dust
And leaves from the back door
Within dreams we're free
But you'd always ask for more.
Yes, I'll move for you
Oh I'll move for you.

On my first visit to Toronto, my friend and his friends brought me to the beaches area where I got to sit beside Lake Ontario. We went to the beach and sat on some rocks and when everyone stopped talking, I played this song. It was really lucky choice because my phone only had this song from Beirut, since I only had the 'Dark was the Night' compilation.
My friend (who moved to Toronto 6 years ago) and his friends all smiled and agreed at the choice of the song. It was a nice feeling I chose the 'right song' for the occasion. There is also a side story about me thinking of moving to Toronto as well.
I think it's:
"See the lawns outside, groomed green lawns, Oh how they glow."
Also, I hear:
"Years spin round on the floor, As the maid sweeps dust And leaves form the back door."
Whoops, I meant "And leaves FROM the back door."
Whoops, I meant "And leaves FROM the back door."
beautiful i love so much his kind of classical approach to singing
