Nights are forever without you Lyrics
Lying in bed with the radio on
Moonlight falls like rain
Soft summer nights spent thinking of you
When will I see you again
Soft and low the music moans
I can't stop thinking about you
Thinking about you...
I didn't know it would be so strong
Waiting and wondering about you
I didn't know it would last so long
Nights are forever without you
Curtains still dance with the wind and the sky
The sun will be coming up soon
But I just can't sleep for thinking of you
Here alone with the moon
Soft and low the music moans
I can't stop thinking about you
Thinking about you...
I didn't know it would be so strong
Waiting and wondering about you
I didn't know it would last so long
Nights are forever without you
Nights are forever without you
Nights are forever without you
Moonlight falls like rain
Soft summer nights spent thinking of you
When will I see you again
I can't stop thinking about you
Thinking about you...
I didn't know it would be so strong
Waiting and wondering about you
I didn't know it would last so long
Nights are forever without you
The sun will be coming up soon
But I just can't sleep for thinking of you
Here alone with the moon
I can't stop thinking about you
Thinking about you...
I didn't know it would be so strong
Waiting and wondering about you
I didn't know it would last so long
Nights are forever without you
Nights are forever without you
Nights are forever without you

I think this song is about a guy who has broken up with his girlfriend and who can't sleep at night because of it and also seem to find that nights seems to last forever because she bis no longer in his life.
When I heard the song, I actually thought they were together but seperated by distance for whatever reason and he is lying there missing her. I guess you can take the song either way!
I remember hearing this song with my older brother the year our older sister went away to college. I missed her terribly, and my brother asked me if this song made me think of how I felt with her gone, and it did. Looking at the lyrics it could be a breakup, but it's clearly a separation and the emotion is so strong that you can't sleep. It's written generally enough it could be about any of those situations.
It is a great pop song.
