Ingmar Bergman was a Swedish director, writer and producer, he died in 2007, maybe this song is about that. I must see some of his movies, they are reputedly awesome!
I read somewhere that it is about Heath Ledger. The first verse is about Bergman and then it continues with "when you see him (Bergman) tell him all..." speaking to Ledger... makes sense that way, Mando are probably the only ones who ones
