This is one powerful song. I especially love how they get their point across with every aspect of the song, the vocals, instrumentals, lyrics, etcetera. Truly one of my favorite sogs.

I think the song is about nuclear war..

References to uranium, fire raining down, skylines being set ablaze, the whole theme of mankind being a failed experiment can also be linked to the fact that nuclear power was the result of vigorous experimentation. Sounds like judgment day to me.

The part that says

reminds me of Knowing (the movie), for those of you that have seen it, and the part where the boy is dreaming and he looks out his window, only to see that everything is on fire, and all the animals are rushing out of the forest. Or when the wave of fire sweeps trough at the end...

all in all, the song seems like it'd be based on a future apocalyptic event, such as Armageddon or a nuclear disaster. That is also probably the scariest song I've ever heard, lyric-wise and mood-wise. Especially at the part I just posed. Send shivers down me every time I hear it. Great ending song, favorite one yet. And, mankind has really fucked this world upwards and under, so i guess that might be some interpretation. I'd love another one like this.

i think this song has a kind of "people=shit" mentality behind it, meaning that people have raped the earth of its natural resources and are the cause of the inevitable apocalypse and now the elements are getting us back
