November Was White, December Was Grey Lyrics

The fire, it cracks
And the flakes snow on
November was white
and December was grey

Well, someday soon
When the spring brings the sun
I'll finally sleep, I'll finally
feel better when the winter's gone
I'll feel better when the winter's gone
I'll feel better when the winter's gone

For these three months
I've been inside the house
My pacing has worn
All of the carpet out

Just give me a breeze
The rebirth of the life
I'll finally pine, I'll finally
Feel better when the winter's gone
I'll feel better when the winter's gone
I'll feel better when the winter's gone

I'll feel better when the winter's gone
I'll feel better when the winter's gone

As a person who lives through Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD - ironically enough), I have to say this song literally saved me this winter. I love it so!

I know someone who experiences SAD. She still manages to have a different girlfriend every down season, still manages to go out with friends, still manages to have sex, etc. SAD appears to be rather selective. Difficult to have empathy.

I think that this song is about when people get.. depressed during the wintertime. Woman are affected mostly. It is a type of depression.. seasonal? I think that's what it may be called. But yeah, November was white(White as in good, light, fun, happy) December was gray(Gray as in sad, cloudy, foggy, dark, depressed)

when I say cloudy and foggy I'm not talk about the weather.. Cloudy and foggy is the way I describe how I feel when I'm depressed. Like, in my brain.. in my head.. in everything.

Baha. yeah. This is jusst what I think ^_^

But, this is a great song and I can't wait to here more from their new album<3333
