All We Ever Needed Lyrics

A heavy heart I bring
For I am tired Lord
Awaken my lost love for You
Take this heart of stone
And warm this bitter cold
Awaken my lost love for You

Let your children fall down and worship
Fall down and know You
For You are holy
Let Your children rise up before You
Rise and adore You
For You are holy
You are holy

Remind us who we are
When we have wandered far
Awaken our lost love You
And like the morning star
You chase away the dark
There is no shadow here with You
With You, Lord

Let Your children fall down and worship
Fall down and know You
For You are holy
Let Your children rise up before You
Rise and adore You
For You are holy

Just a glimpse of You is all we ever needed
Just a touch from You is all we ever needed
Just a glimpse of You is all we ever needed
It's all that we are needing now

Let Your children fall down and worship
Fall down and know You
For You are holy
Let Your children rise up before You
Rise and adore You
For You are holy

Cover art for All We Ever Needed lyrics by Rush Of Fools

I actually belongs to those avid followers of Rush band and Oh, heck yeah - Rush is going to be at the NY State Fair! Not Rush Limbaugh, thank heavens, but the BAND Rush. They're playing the entire Moving Pictures album on their current tour. I'd even get payday loans to get to that show. If there is one band the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame has ignored in an act of egregious folly, Rush is it. (Well, there are others - Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Alice Cooper, etc.) I don't know if it's that they wrote tracks using Ayn Rand as motivation or precisely what, but they more than deserve admission.
