I never remember birthdays.
But I could never forget the sound of her name.
The structure of vows and letters flow perfectly together.

I'm terrible with crowds.
But I could break the bars if you wanna go out.
Thinking I'm a charmer.
You see, that's part of the armor.

I'll take my swolen pride.
I'll lay it down tonight.
Oh, if only for a moment of your time.
Then you'll finally see how it's supposed to be.
Our flaws dissolve in love so easily.

Well, I'm addicted to coffee.
But I would give the cup if you wanted me.
Completely change my lifestyle all for the sake of one smile.

I'm hardly puntual.
But I could rearrange my usual.
For once I will be early.
You won't be able to resist me.

I'll take my swolen pride.
I'll lay it down tonight.
Oh, if only for a moment of your time.
Then you'll finally see how it's supposed to be.
Our flaws dissolve in love so easily.

I'll change everything I do.
Take whatever measures possible to accommodate you.
No, I don't put much faith in anything at all.
But I feel confident when you're around.
And I'm not afraid to fall.

I'll take my swolen pride.
I'll lay it down tonight.
Oh, if only for a moment of your time.
Then you'll finally see how it's supposed to be.
Our flaws dissolve in love so easily.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
