Why Lyrics
Why am I so frightened by the little things
The bedbugs, the wedding rings
Why am I so bothered by the bickering
The water cooler’s echoing
The push that comes to shove
Do I talk too much, or not enough?
Why do I apologize for everything
From what I say to what I sing
Why have all my friends become my enemies
Do they see some other side of me
Do you say you’ve got one too?
Perhaps I can relate to you,
and everything you’re going through
There seems to be a break between
the things we say and things we do
But if you dream of you and me the way I do
Gonna see this one through
The bedbugs, the wedding rings
Why am I so bothered by the bickering
The water cooler’s echoing
The push that comes to shove
Do I talk too much, or not enough?
From what I say to what I sing
Why have all my friends become my enemies
Do they see some other side of me
Do you say you’ve got one too?
Perhaps I can relate to you,
and everything you’re going through
the things we say and things we do
But if you dream of you and me the way I do
Gonna see this one through

Any person who love hearing or singing along with Pt Walkley in this song is somehow battling a serious argument with oneself. Not understanding anything that is going on through and being too slow in comprehending his own views of the current happenings, the bedbugs, the wedding rings. I found myself trap inside the room as I hear this song. I've repeated it over and over again. It's still singing in my head.
