Born in the 70's Lyrics
Taking gulps, of big blue sea, a georgia peach and texas tea.
The sands of time, stuck in your shoe that make you cross, they make you blue. Whatever happened to you? -
You were born in the 70s [2x]
The Ins & Outs, cold at hearts, lost in space and parking lots.
440 fours, 454s, they get me off, they get me high.
So whatever happened to me? - I was born in the 70s, and you were born, you were born in the 70s - and we were born, we were born in the 70s [2x] --
The sands of time, stuck in your shoe that make you cross, they make you blue. Whatever happened to you? -
You were born in the 70s [2x]
440 fours, 454s, they get me off, they get me high.
So whatever happened to me? - I was born in the 70s, and you were born, you were born in the 70s - and we were born, we were born in the 70s [2x] --

generation x blues?
"Taking gulps...of big blue sea" always reminded me of big gulp slurpees from 7-11. "Georgia Peach" - bubble yum flavor? "Texas Tea" from the Beverly Hillbillies.
"The Ins & Outs" - A Clockwork Orange reference "Lost in Space" - one of the best syndicated shows ever! "for .44s" - dirty harry magnums? "454s" - the big block chevy engine of choice.
Generation X blues, yes. but more probably nostalgia for a much maligned decade that wasn't soo bad in retrospect.
