Honestly, I can't tell if this song is supposed to be very subtle satire of the concept or if it's played perfectly straight because if it's the latter, I can think of another of Allen's songs I would like to refer to her in response. I'm quite sure you can figure that one out.
If this song isn't satire, then it's basically the bane of my existence as a gay man. Even moreso to me than the raving homophones. At least they are aware of what they're doing. This song just proves to me that Allen is blatantly oblivious to her own shortcomings in the matter.

I'm not femme and even if I was, even if I loved fashion and interior design and all that stuff, I still would absolutely loathe people with this attitude.
