I was listening to this song and I was like, wow this sounds A LOT like an Alice and Chains song. Not any song in particular, just their sound and as I listened to the lyrics it kept saying chains, I just thought that was a coincidence. BUT then i look at the song title and its called Alice! It has to be a dedication or something to the band. Maybe they are fans? Anyone else notice this?
i see this song as a song about a girl cheating on guy. he possibly wants to wait to have sex but she cannot. he feels like he cannot trust her so he has to keep her close because he loves her. she dismisses what he says and finds someone else to have sex with. i may be totally wrong but thats how i see it.
I agree with the cheating thing; he doesn't trust her and so its essentially tearing the relationship apart ("..in the silence that divides us"). Good sooong

I thought the same thing, about the Alice in Chains thing, when I heard this. Maybe they're fans. Pretty cool.
