I think this song is about their old bands... Minus the sing from Pierce the Veil... Two of the singers were kicked out of their band... The only part that doesn't make sense if I'm right is...

I think this song is about fame. Isles and Glaciers was a group of artists who had previously tasted fame. They are expressing their thoughts towards themselves, and that is they are very powerful and very important. They talk about how they are very big and powerful, and god-like to fans. In the 2nd verse they point out that it wasn't easy to get there. They had to work hard, and it's still diffucult. Being so big comes with consequences "Sometimes [they] feel just like machines" Durring the bridge "stare all you want..." I think they are referencing the fans again. They want to help their fans, but they are still on top.
