I think this is about a guy that helped her find herself and made her life better.

"Glass hailed from the sky that night" I think this is a metaphor for everything going downhill for her.

"I couldn't hide to save my life" She's saying that she couldn't protect herself from all the stuff that had gone wrong. All the negative emotion and all of the pain.

"Standing drenched in open wounds You took my hand and pulled me through" Even though she was broken and cut to pieces the guy took her hand with no hesitation and helped her work through all of her problems and all of the things that were wrong in her life.

"I want to give you everything I'll give you my all Because you gave me, you gave me your lips a gentle kiss The medicine to cure my pain" She wants to repay the guy for everthing he did for her. He helped her with everything and he's the sole reason that she's better now.

"Listen to all of this glass shatter It pierced my ears and made them bleed Now it sounds so beautiful, cause your beautiful your beautiful" I think that she's saying that even the most horrible things aren't bad when he's around because when she's with him, everything is beautiful because he makes it beautiful.

When I heard this song I thought about God it could be about him or it could be about a lover either way the song is pretty!

Gorgeous song with gorgeous lyrics for me. It makes me think of my first true love and all the pain and suffering he took away from me once he appeared in my life. In my opinion this song is about a guardian angel which the girl (just like me) found in a boy. she's full of gratefulness, happiness and past sadness...
