Get All You Deserve Lyrics
Open the car door slow
Don't think you'll ever know my name
Get all that you deserve, in this world
Love more than you can know
Have more than you'll ever need from me
Get all that you deserve, in this world
Get all that you deserve
Get all that you deserve
Get all that you deserve
Don't think you'll ever know my name
Have more than you'll ever need from me
Get all that you deserve
Get all that you deserve

powerful song. The line "get all that you deserve" is repeated over and over as the noise and distortion builds. This reflects how this ideal is repeated in the modern culture. And what does this attitude lead to? Total breakdown, destruction, thus, as says SW, "total fucking noise." Amazing use of lyrics and song to complement each other.
I think this song is about the culture of greed and entitlement surrounding young people these days. It's how young people can fly through the world trying to get everything they think they deserve.
"Open the car door slow. Don't think you'll ever know my name" Sounds like the scene of a crash. The driver is slowly opening the door to see what/who he ran over. He'll probably never now the victim's name. Metaphorically, this person is recklessly driving through life, using and leaving people as he sees fit.
"Get all that you deserve, in this world"
"Love more than you can know. Have more than you'll ever need from me" He says he loves people/things but he loves more than he can even know, so he must not really love them. He has more than he needs so he leaves the person to die. He has more than he needs from this person so he leaves them to die.
Get all that you deserve, in this world
Get all that you deserve Get all that you deserve Get all that you deserve
total fucking noise!
the length and ambience of this song are perfect.
For me it's a bitter way of saying goodbye to a partner. (After Stupd Dream, Deadwing and Incident)
