Yes i agree with Skyth on the "so you can feel whole" part. Buy i always thought it was "save up you efforts" , because that has more relevance to the next line "this is only a goal" Love this song and although it can be depressing if you are in the wrong mood it is still probably my favourite song by her.
I think it might be "queen of hearts is..." not "queen of horses"
I love this song. At first I wasn't keen on it, simply 'cause I didn't like the guys voice on first listen, but now I really like the song (and the guys voice). The last 2 lines are amazing.
This song is very clear or at least to me it is. About breaking up with some one and trying to be friends after words. Or that's what if feels like to me

To me, this is about when someone tells you something they know you don't want to hear, and when they sugar coat it, or leave out important parts.
She just wants to know the truth so that she can get over it, instead of wondering what he means and not being able to read him.
to me this song is about losing someone, and watching them move on, and how you cant, but you want people to be honest with you about it, because sugarcoating things only makes them harder
