Crisis 1 & 2 Lyrics
Been looking at the roadwork, I can't work like this. It's hazardous for us. Better hide out for the weekend or they'll do us in, they'll do us all. Don't make a sound. Three times it could be denied; it's a suicide mission that has us by the balls. Take the front and I'll take the back. A surprise attack should do the job. Don't let me down. Gonna make my way the the railway tracks. There's a train coming soon and I can't look back and I'm dying to know how much you care. I can hear it I the distance under my heartbeat. I feel the rumble gettin' closer on the soles of my feet and I'm dying to know how much you care. Knocking over pillar after pillar of salt, only bullets gonna get me to a grinding halt and I'm dying to know how much you care. Oh Lord! Yeah, I'm talking to you. It's been a life long sentence and you thought we were throught but now I'm dying to know how much you care.

The best song on that album. Hands down.
hands down.
I love the final part. It's fairly clear that he's trying to kill himself, and it sounds like he's drifted apart from religion during his life. But now, at the end, he wants to find out whether God still loves him. Hence the brilliant double meaning in "I'm dying to know how much you care".
