yeah, i dont really know what this song is about, but i LOVE it. like, its amazingg <3. it neverrrrrr gets old(: . its my ringtone right now, hahahaha

It seems like the guy is in love with the girl although the girl is not returning the feels back. Throughout the song, they sleep together but the girl regrets it... "I woke up and you were gone" - the girl is not next to him, a sign that she doesn't feel the same when they slept together the night before, "I found your clothes lining the hall" and "I freaked out, you hid away". "I saw the light of a new day" The guy begins to have feelings for her.

The chorus just shows how he feels about her.

"and maybe i was wrong"- since she's not returning her feelings, he's doubting how he rushed in his feelings to fast. "But baby I'm a star, burning brightly in the night sky With a billion years of fire and life" - but he's young and he has never felt this way before.

and the rest is self explanatory in the given lyrics.
