We'd like to thank you all for coming tonight. Tonight we're going to do a one hour set called Music From The Death Factory. It's basically about the post-breakdown of civilization. You know, you walk down the street and there are a lot of ruined factories and bits of old newspaper with stories about pornography and page 3 pinups blowing down the street, and you turn the corner with a dead dog, and you sort of see old dust bins. And then, over the ruined factory...there's a funny noise...

This is the introduction to Very Friendly from their ICA gig, and pretty much describes the visual aspect to TG's music - a society swallowed by its slavery to its own mindless pursuit of progress and vice.
