She Loves Everybody Lyrics

Somebody call my baby
Somebody call her up real quick
I think I need my fix

Always around to please me
Always around to take control
I never feel alone
Yeah

But you feel so clean
Well she craves affection
So I use protection
And I know she loves me
She loves everybody

Baby oh no
(Oh yeah)
Darling oh no
(Oh yeah)
Baby oh!

You're just a little girl now
You're just a girl who misses her dad
And all the toys that she had

Thought I could make you older
Thought I could keep you out of harm
But now you're caught in my arms

But you feel so clean
Well she craves affection
So I use protection
And I know she loves me
She loves everybody

Baby oh no
(Oh yeah)
Darling oh no
(Oh yeah)
Baby oh!

Now that we've made it this far
Now that we've made a mess in the car
You ought to give it a rest

But you feel so clean
Well she craves affection
So I use protection
And I know she loves me
She loves everybody

But you feel so clean
Well she craves affection
So I use protection
And I know she loves me
She loves everybody

I think it is about a girl who is a slut. She has been a slut for such a long time, she wants to be daddy's girl again. "She loves everybody"- CHEATS! "She craves affection"- Hooks up with other guys. "I use protection"- He knows, but still loves her. "She feels clean"- Doubts she has disease. In the video she's beating him up for calling her a slut. :)

The lyrics are so clever, this song tells the portrayal of when you date a sex addict down to the tee, its crazy. Word for word

Hum... well, Im assuming the song is about him and his girlfriend, who was molasted by her father or something (You're just a girl who misses her dad) and because of this she is a slut (she loves everybody) and he knows this so he wears a rubber when they fuck (so i use protection) even though he doubts she has any kind of sexual disease (but she looks so clean). So yeh, thts just my take on it. The video for this song makes me laugh.

Chantale, did you consider she might just so happen to be beating DW/the band members up merely because they were calling her a slut? P: Women who sleep around, don't really think they're doing something wrong at the time - or sometimes they do, but they'll still take defense.

Anyhow, I agree with pretty much everyone here. It's about a chick hes dating/has a casual (sex?) friendship with, who has sex with a lot of men/their friend circle. She could also possibly be a nymphomaniac:

"Now that we've made it this far Now that we've made a mess in the car You ought to give it a rest"

She just wants more and more and more ! Lol.

i love this song. its about a chick that cheats and has sex with a bunch of dudes including him. but he wraps it up, hence the "protection".

I think you are all very wrong. The music video makes no indication of her cheating. I think the lyrics are very deceivind and seem simple enough until you watch the music video. After some pondering over it, I believe that the song is about the pain people go through in relationships. The girls pumbles DW until his body is crippling on the floor, but he still manages a smile. I'm not sure about you, but in a relationship I was involved in for 2 years, even during the worst fights, my ex and I would always manage to smile at the end. Both the girl and DW smile throughout the conflicts. Also, when your in an argument with your partner, it effects everyone around you. Mutual friends often have to chsoe sides, or they are simply upset because you are. This would explain why the girl hit the other band members too. I don't think this girl is supposed to be represented as a slut, otherwise you'd think they'd atleast have her wearing more revealing clothes to get the point across to the audiance. I think that she is just a girl who means well, but has issues, probobly resulting in the absence of her father or something. Her issues often result in conflict in her and DWs relationship. Hope this helped! -Chantale

Oh, also I think the reason she "craves affection" is because she received none from her father. I used to be the same way- my father left me at a young age and I thought something was wrong with me, and tried to gain the affection and approval of others. When DW says "so I use protection"- I think that he may just be cautious of her because she has a very unpredictable nature due to the possible abuse her father inflicted on her.

idk. you made a very good point Chantale about her fathers hand in her 'craving affection' but i think the lyrics are supposed to be taken a bit more literally. the line "so i use protection" i think was pretty self explanatory, i dont know any other connotations used for such a saying... and the fact that she is not wearing revealing clothes is because of the line "but she feels so clean"... but idk

anyway, clearly a beautifully simplistic song - a new favorite. reminds me of a band called Tapes 'n Tapes? eh? anyone?

Oh, something else I forgot, to kind of validate my point..

"Somebody call my baby Somebody call her up real quick I think I need my fix"

He says these first lines as if her number is one that a lot of the guys have. Anyone else pick up on that? >;
